 What the Seminar Covers

 Illness experienced by athletes during training is common, but by no means necessary, this can be prevented. Unlike losing days from paid work, days lost to athletes and people in training equate to a reduction in quality days spent training, and potentially detrimental effects on performance. This is a problem.

There are a number of stressors placed on the immune system when training which can wreak havoc. These include exercising in hot and cold environments, plus  training or competing in events with large nutritional demands. This revealing seminar will cover in detail;

  • The biological impact of single bouts of exercise, training,
  •  Nutritional and environmental stress on the immune system
  • The potentially detrimental effects on performance that can arise from losing training days due to infection.
  • A road map to combat the detrimental effects of exercise on the immunity.
